Center Enamel provides glass fused to steel water storage tanks for customers worldwide. Our Glass fused to steel water tank is NSF approved. All our glass fused to steel water tanks utilized in potable water systems are designed to AWWA (American Water Works Assoc.) standards.The steel round (cylindrical) shell of the tank is built from two-layer enameled sheets coated on both sides. The sheets are attached with special high-grade bolts and sealed by constantly flexible silicone (sealant). The surface of connecting material and the shell itself are properly treated.
Glass Lined Steel tanks are used in commercial and industrial applications for a wide variety of uses ranging from water and chemical storage to food applications and dry bulk storage silos. Standard capacities range from 20m3 to 20000m3.
Glass Lined Steel tanks are made Glass-Fused-to-Steel that are manufactured and finished offsite, greatly reducing the time and labor involved in the field. Once delivered, each section is erected, sealed with gaskets and bolted to adjacent sections. This results in an installation process that is quick and easy, far faster than installation of concrete or welded tanks, and it is not subject to the weather delays that often stall the installation of competing designs.
